Transition

We are looking forward to welcoming our new students on the 4th September.

Students have been assigned to a tutor group and Teaching group, the details of which will be provided during the first day in school and will show on classcharts.

We understand that students might be worried about starting a new school and not knowing what to bring or where to go on the first day. We will not be expecting students to bring PE kit or Landbased kit on their first day but they must bring all the equipment for the classroom as listed in the information pack. Please also see the video on this page which aims to provide a helpful start point.

The school unfortunately does not have a designated car park for the students drop off and pick up, therefore we ask all parents / carers to use the drop off zone at the front of the school and turn around at the roundabout and please do not park on the side of the road

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS regarding DROP OFF and PICK UP OF STUDENTS

We encourage our parents to use the designated drop off point at the front of the school and use the turn-around area to both drop students off before school and pick students up after school.

Upon entering the school grounds please use the designated drop off area. This is the only lane that should be used for unloading. This is a drop off lane, so please be efficient when you are saying good bye to your child (starting your good byes before getting to the curb will assist in not holding up the line of traffic that is behind you).

After unloading children, vehicles should wait until the vehicle in front of them proceeds forward to exit. This platooning method helps reduce cars pulling in and out of the loading zone and interrupting the flow of traffic, as well as ensures safety of those walking.

WHEN LEAVING THE DROP OFF POINT, PLEASE TURN AROUND AT THE ROUND ABOUT AND LEAVE THE SCHOOL SITE.

We ask parents to not park in the turnaround area or obstruct this point. parking is avilable at the RSPCA carpark.

Any additional information will be posted on this page.

Wishing you all a happy, healthy summer.
